Overview

Founded in 1934 and traditionally regarded as one of the “big 3” UK bookmakers with a high street presence in excess of 2000 shops. William Hill also have a thriving telephone betting operation which is run independently so you can qualify for a free bet there as well if you wish.

The website layout takes a little bit of getting used to and is not as "user friendly” as some others however that is just my personal opinion.

Early odds (EP) on horses are normally good and the odds in general are normally the best in the business on horses.

The customer service lets them down a little with no telephone number being obvious. You have to search to work out how to contact them and even then they don’t provide you with an email address which is disappointing. The “live chat” service is useful although it does depend on who you get at the other end. They have frequently mailed me with offers that you then have to spend an age following up to get paid- my advice is not to bother unless your very patient!

Summary

Everything odds wise that you would expect from one of the "big 3" and the BOGOFS are a nice bonus. Unfortunately what should be a great gaming experience is sometimes let down by the customer service which can be painfully slow. They will also limit you quite quickly if you dare  to win on the horses and have taken a keen price .
